Job Title: HGV and PSV Driver  
Reporting to: Transport Coordinator
Contract: Seasonal  May – September

Main Duties:

• To conduct thorough vehicle/trailer pre use checks reporting any defects or issues immediately.
• To ensure your driving records are up to date and completed correctly.
• To ensure you are complaint with drivers’ hours rules (EC 561/06) and Working Time Directive regulations.
• To ensure deliveries and/or collections are completed in full and on time in a safe and efficient manner.
• To ensure your vehicle and/or trailer is keep in good condition and is regularly cleaned.
• To ensure you observe speed limits, weight limits, height restrictions and any other road traffic legislation applicable to the vehicle you are driving.
• Take vehicles and/or trailers to and from places of repairs as requested.
• Be responsible for the safe and compliant loading of your vehicle and trailer.
• When required you will need to assist loading and unloading your vehicle using MHE. This may also include assistance in stock picking/rotation at satellite locations.
• At times you may be required to aid the PSV team with people movements around the farms or on airport collections.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in driving HGV, PSV
• Experience in conducting vehicle pre-use checks
• Experience of safe loading of vehicles/trailers
• Understanding of Road Transport Law applicable to driving HGV, PSV
  Clean and Valid Driving Licence to include category CE, D
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification
• Holder of a Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Desirable Additional D category on driver CPC
• Must have Right to Work
• Must be minimum 18 years old
