Job Title:  UK Operations Business Partner
Reporting to:  Group Commercial Finance Business Partner
Contract: Permanent

Main Duties:

1. UK Operations reporting:

• Month-end journals for cost of sales
• Provide detailed analysis to the UK Production and Packhouse management
• Month-end stock, plant purchase and utilities balance sheet accounts postings and ensure accounts reconciled to supporting documentation
• Work with Group Rewards and Recognition Manager to ensure accurate cost of sales labour reporting and to understand variances to budget and latest forecast for Production and Packhouse

2.Business Partnering:

• Assisting Operations Director, and Production management team, by providing accurate data and robust scenario planning reporting to enable timely

3.Budget and Forecasting

• UK cost of sales for budgets and forecasts
• Production of budget and forecast customer gross margin
• Work with Group Financial Controller, Operations Director, Production management and Procurement Manager to get view of energy usage and costs for budget and forecasts
• Work with Group Financial Controller, Genetics Director and Production Management to get a view of plant payment

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in financial analysis particularly gross margin is essential.
• Finance qualification – recently qualified CMA, ACCA or equivalent
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central is preferred; however, proficiency in a comparable finance system with transferable skills is also valued
• Experience of working in FMCG/Food/Agriculture is preferred
• Excellent analytical skills, with ability to present data in an organised and concise manner
• Strong IT skills, including MS Excel
