Job Title: Trials Coordinator
Reporting to: Genetics Director
Contract: Permanent
Salary: To be confirmed on application

To organize a site with adequate resources for the evaluation of new genetics. The data generated will aid in determining what will be the next phase of the genetics being evaluated.

Main Duties:

• Design trial site plantings for raspberry, blackberry, strawberry, and blueberry plantings.
• Responsible for labelling all trials and prepare clear maps of all the plants in trials and managing the collection of all pertinent data in trial
• Identify susceptibilities to pests and pathogens that could be an issue if selection was grown on commercial level.
• Participate in monthly meetings with other trial managers to coordinate uniform communication on the updates of information from trial sites.
• Collect sufficient data to assist in preparing Trial Budget with Genetics Director.
• Visit trial sites of the breeding companies that are allowing TSBC to test their genetics and attend technical conferences throughout the year.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to make presentations of data generated from trial site
• Work in an environment with expanded growth.
• Ability to start specific projects and complete the projects with an analysis of outcome.
• The successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK
