Job Title: Product Quality Assurance Technician
Reporting to: Product Quality Assurance Manager
Contract: Permanent, based on 48hr

Main Duties:

• Checking and recording quality of the raw material product.
• Ensuring all the products are labelled correctly.
• Ensuring that correct version of specifications and documents is used.
• Monitor packing line standards and report any issues relating to quality, foreign body risks, packaging defects or labelling errors
• Making sure that all equipment used is maintained in a good state and calibrated in correct intervals.
• Support taste panels, shelf-life assessments and product checks where applicable
• Communicate effectively with QA Manager, Production, Line Leaders and other departments regarding quality concerns and improvements
• Ensuring checks are completed in accordance with company procedures and policies.
• Assist with investigating quality issues, non-conformances and customer complaints, supporting corrective actions where required
• In quieter periods of time or as required, the expectation is that you will help your wider teams across the business

Skills & Qualifications:

• Preferably within the soft fruit experience
• Flexibility with working hours
• Computer literate
• Good level of written and spoken English
• Good communication skills
• Be able to work both individually & in a team

This role will require work at night shifts.
