Job Title: Site Maintenance Manager
Reporting to: Glasshouse Manager
Contract:  Permanent

Main Duties:

• Relay issues with the system clearly to people responsible for the Heat Pumps or CHPs maintenance ( Not required to be able to work on specialist heat pumps or CHPs but must communicate information effectively).
• Draining and refilling heating systems as and when required.
• Replacement of standard pumps and other components as and when required.
• Regular checks and maintenance upkeep of all strainers.
• Electrical unwiring and rewiring of standard pumps and components as and when required.
• Manage routine servicing and regular inspection of all electrical, mechanical and other equipment of the facility.
• Detecting any defects and malfunctions, repairing and refurbishing them. Diagnose and rectify breakdown problem.
• Taking ownership of specific maintenance projects.
• Control of maintenance tools, stores, and equipment, including stock controls.
• Managing external maintenance contractors .
• Monitor and control maintenance costs and budgets.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Mechanical and electrical experience – essential
• Prior experience with heating systems – essential
• Prior experience with Glasshouse heating systems – desirable
• Familiarity with Priva system – desirable
• Previous Glasshouse maintenance experience – desirable
• Experience in maintaining and repairing production machinery – desirable
• Fabrication using lathe and welding – desirable
• UK/EU Driving Licence, excellent communication skills, flexibility on working hours, including weekends and Bank holidays, emergency call outs – essential
