Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Reporting to: Site Maintenance Manager
Contract: Permanent
Main Duties:
- Manage routine servicing and regular inspection of all electrical, mechanical and other equipment of the facility (including boilers, high pressure pumps, gear boxes). Quality inspections on various jobs.
- Detecting any defects and malfunctions, immediately repairing and refurbishing them. Diagnose and rectify breakdown problem.
- Coordinating and producing feedback on the functionality of the machinery and equipment
- Reporting all defects and damages to the nursery manager.
- Maintaining records of the repair and maintenance work conducted in the facility.
- Efficiently managing time and delivering within specified deadlines.
- Taking part in specific projects.
- Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
- Monitor and control maintenance cost.
- Liaise with suppliers and specialists.
- Ensure all correct legal standards are adhered
- Understand how each department/site fits into the TSBC structure.
- Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with Health and Safety regulations as given in company Risk Assessments.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Flexibility on working hours
- Ability to drive and possession of a full, clean UK driving license
- Have experience in maintaining and repairing production machinery
- The ability to be part of driven and motivated team.
- A high level of attention to detail and a proactive attitude
