Job Title: Harvest Manager
Reporting to: Operations Director

Purpose of Role: Manage and lead the resources allocated to harvest department, ensuring compliance with all imposed procedures and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the harvest team (approx. 300 workers), ensuring high quality standards in accordance with customer’s specifications and an extended shelf life of the product;
  • Organization of logistics and resources to ensure the smooth running of harvest;
  • Responsible for managing the harvest team’s budget;
  • Deliver KPI’s in line with budgets;
  • Ensure investigation, corrective actions and trend analysis of quality complaints, and give quality improvement inputs;
  • Participate actively in HSE management system improvements and act as a safety agent, according to the competences required;
  • Communication with other departments and/or external stakeholders regarding quality problems, harvest intervals etc.


Skills & Experiences:

  • Degree in Agronomy, Agronomic Engineering, Food Engineering or similar (preferential);
  • Previous experience (preferential);
  • Previous experience in team management;
  • Good English skills;
  • Ability to work in multicultural teams.
