Job Title: Camp Warden
Reporting to:  Accommodation Manager

Main Duties:

  • Ensure that the campsites are safe in all aspects by championing the TSBCo H&S Policy and that all personnel living in the accommodation are safe and understand how to prevent accidents to themselves, other employees, and the general public.
  • Undertake regular inspection of all accommodation and facilities to ensure continued standards of safety and hygiene.
  • Report all accidents and incidents to your Line Manager as well as the Health and Safety Manager for action as soon as is reasonably practicable.
  • Respond quickly to defects or malfunctions on property/equipment and ensure that communal areas and facilities such as lawns, laundries, drying areas, games rooms, showers, toilets and entrances are maintained and well presented
  • Carry out scheduled and non-scheduled repairs and maintenance to accommodation, grounds and equipment where necessary to a high standard.
  • Ensure new arrivals are welcomed and provided with the correct information and all welfare facilities are in good working order.
  • Assist with accident and illness response including transporting staff to hospitals and surgeries.
  • Appropriate use of the Body Worn Video Camera reporting any concerns to the Accommodation Manager.
  • Actively listen and deal with complaints/issues as soon as practicable and then communicate updates to all relevant parties

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Flexibility on working hours, take responsibility for own development, professional, confident and mature approach
  • Able to manage relationships at different levels, strong communication and analytical/problem solving skills, ability to work under pressure and to be self-motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service skills and detail conscious
  • Have an organised and structured approach, able to meet agreed deadlines on time
  • Possess a good level of English (verbal and in writing) and clean driving licence (cat b)
