Job Title: Commercial Operations Coordinator
Reporting to: Group Head of Commercial Operations
Contract: Permanent
Salary: To be confirmed on application
Main Duties:
- Manage and maintain accurate sales forecasts, demand plans and supply plans, identifying potential shortages, excess stock and service risks
- Analyse operational capacity against forecast demand, highlighting risks and supporting appropriate planning adjustments
- Manage customer orders, delivery schedules, SKU data and product set-ups, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
- Communicate product availability, shortages and delivery risks to customers and support Commercial teams in maintaining high service levels and OTIF performance
- Monitor and report stock levels, stock cover, production outputs and inbound deliveries across farm and production sites
- Investigate stock discrepancies and support stock counts, reconciliations and waste reporting, working closely with Packhouse and QA teams
- Coordinate with suppliers, packhouses and factories on availability, lead times, production plans and delivery schedules
- Manage purchase orders and supplier performance and support related invoicing
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including transport bookings, delivery slots, delivery documentation and vehicle utilisation
- Build strong working relationships internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers, providing timely updates and supporting effective day-to-day planning
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in FMCG, retail, food or end-to-end supply chain operations, ideally within fresh produce preferable
- Process-driven and improvement-focused
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Analytical, organised and proactive, with excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to work to deadlines
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Clean UK/EU driving licence
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, where necessary
