On 3 November 2025, The Summer Berry Company was honoured with the Innovation Project of the Year award at the Chichester & District Business Awards.
The recognition celebrates the implementation of a pioneering solution that enabled TSBC to become the first UK grower to produce British strawberries all year round — a milestone that reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence in berry production.
Micky Riggs and Mateusz Gawlik, who were directly involved in the development and implementation of this project, proudly represented TSBC at the awards ceremony held at the Minerva Theatre.
