Job Title: Bus Driver
Reporting to: Transport Coordinator
Contract:  Permanent

Main Duties:

• Conducting thorough vehicle/trailer pre use checks reporting any defects or issues
• Ensuring driving records are up to date and completed correctly
• Ensuring you are complaint with drivers’ hours rules (EC 561/06) and Working Time Directive regulations
• Ensuring drop offs and/or collections are completed in full and in a safe manner.
• Ensuring vehicles are kept in good conditions and regularly cleaned
• Ensuring the speed limits, weight limits, height restrictions and any other road traffic legislation applicable to the vehicle you are driving.
• Taking vehicles to and from repairs as requested
• Report any broken, faulty, damaged equipment to management team
• Observe all Health and Safety requirements specific to your role and each site you visit
• Always be willing to assist the Transport team where required, including other drivers
• To operate the toilet van when requested and ensure all checks end records are done and up to date
• Undertake other additional duties as requested by Management and senior staff.
• Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with Health & safety regulations as given in company Risk Assessments

Skills & Experience:

• Clean and Valid Driving Licence
• Ability to work on own and initiative as well as work well within a team
• Good communication and administration skills
• Detail conscious
• Safety compliant
• Reliable with an excellent time keeping record
• Able to work in the outdoor elements with a flexible approach to work
