Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Reporting to: Site Maintenance Manager
Contract: Seasonal, weekly salaried
Start: 01 November 2024

Main Duties:

• Regular inspection of all electrical, mechanical and other equipment of the facility , including boilers, high pressure pumps, gear boxes and machinery.
• Detecting any defects and malfunctions, immediately repairing and refurbishing them.
• Coordinating and producing feedback on the functionality of the machinery and equipment.
• Reporting all defects and damages to your Line Manager.
• Efficiently managing time and delivering within specified deadlines.
• Assisting in specific maintenance projects around the site.
• Assisting in the control of maintenance tools, stores and equipment, including stock control and cleanliness.
• Operating the roof washing machine in a timely, safe and responsible manner, including periodic maintenance of the machine.

Skills & Qualifications:

• UK/EU Driving Licence – essential
• FLT & Manitou licence – desirable
• Current welding licence – desirable
• Self-motivated – essential
• Excellent communication skills – essential
• Flexibility on working hours, including weekends and bank holidays – essential
• Flexibility on emergency calls out – essential
• Previous glasshouse maintenance experience – desirable
